Barbara Hengstschläger
Barbara Hengstschläger and her husband contacted Carol Byers and ACA in search of a family pet.
During their subsequent visit to Lovasbereny, Barbara's enthusiasm for that project inspired her to take an active role in animal welfare. Since then she and Carol have maintained steady contact, and Barbara now assists us with the creation of online animal placement notices and helps out wherever she can.
Barbara has been an animal lover since her childhood: she grew up in a household with dogs, and now lives with eleven guinea pigs, two cats, several fish and Mirko from Lovasbereny. She also has two horses, one of whom is now enjoying his retirement.
