Sigrid Aicher

Sigrid Aicher lives for art and animals. She has been running her one-person business as a photographer since 2014, specializing in animal photography in the private sector and for commercial customers, who primarily focus on portrait, architectural and product photography (pets.aicher.photography). In 2020, a handicraft company was added and here, too, everything revolves around the beloved pet (www.furry-friends.at).

Sigrid grew up with animals and has always had a special touch and, above all, a big heart for four-legged friends. The cats and dogs that she was allowed to accompany over the decades were all from animal welfare. She currently lives in Vienna with her two dogs, Pixel and Dot.

Sigrid has been actively supporting animal welfare for a long time – by fostering dogs, helping with fundraisers and taking many, many photos to support various small associations. She came to Animal Care Austria by chance: While handing over donations in kind to ACA, she met ACA founder Carol Byers, who spontaneously asked if she would like to take pictures of the next trip to the Serbian animal shelter. Sigrid agreed on the spot without hesitation and has been supporting ACA since this trip as a fixed part of the team with mediation photos, press photos, image videos and everything else that comes up in the visual area.
